    Procurement at Powerlink

External organisations are able to access our procurement services and supplier databases to source and purchase high voltage electricity equipment.

Services can be provided on a one off/as required basis— however more benefit can be achieved by utilising a suite of services under an agency agreement.

Organisations using our procurement services also have access to our sourcing strategies to address the market dynamics and supplier capabilities for each category of equipment, including implementing term contracts for most equipment.

Our ‘whole of life’ philosophy to procure equipment and infrastructure at a low cost, while reducing the possibility of expensive maintenance later on has allowed us to develop a network of quality equipment that is reliable and cost effective.

Our specialist teams have commercial, procurement, supply and logistic experience relating to high voltage plant equipment, inventory management, logistics and contracts.

    Supplier registration

Companies wishing to supply goods or services to Powerlink  can register for free on the Powerlink Supplier Information System.

    Registration is a two-step process:

    1. Go to the Registration page, provide the requested company details and create a login and password.
    2. Once you have your login and password, you are taken to a supplier details page to register your capability.

If you’re an existing user of the Powerlink SIS you can sign in using your login and password.  If you are not sure if you or your company are registered, sign in a new user and during the registration process you will be notified if your company is already registered.

Once you’re a user of the Powerlink SIS you can amend your company details as required which will then be automatically amended in the Powerlink Vendor Database.

If you require further information please email the Procurement Team.
