All job vacancies at Powerlink are advertised on Seek and on this website’s current vacancies page. Each job advertisement contains the role’s position description, key responsibilities, required skills—and whether it’s permanent, temporary, full-time or part-time. Sometimes we also advertise roles in relevant industry publications and job boards.
The best way to find out about roles being advertised is to subscribe to our job alerts.
We manage the entire recruitment process online. To be considered for positions at Powerlink you’ll need to apply for roles as they are advertised. Once you’ve submitted your application you’ll be able to check the status of your application by logging in to our secure existing applicant page.
When applying for positions at Powerlink:
- You’ll need to complete an electronic application form and attach a resume. You can also attach other documents, such as a cover letter and response to selection criteria.
- Your resume should provide information about your qualifications and relevant work experience.
- While not compulsory, your cover letter would provide an overview of why you are suitable for the position. This would also address the main selection criteria in a concise manner. Alternatively, you could address selection criteria in a separate document.
- The recruitment team will contact you using the email address and phone number you provide—so makes sure it’s an email address and phone number we can easily reach you on during business hours.
We have a central recruitment team who coordinate all recruitments. They are involved in organising all steps that may be required in the process including organising testing, interviews, reference checks and health assessments. The recruitment team also manages all communications with applicants and will be your main point of contact.
The final part of the recruitment process is the appointment. The successful applicant is formally offered the role and provided with a written offer which outlines the working conditions and remuneration. Read more about the benefits of working for Powerlink.
