Vacation employment

Powerlink offers real-life work experience across a range of specialist disciplines for university students during the summer break.

It’s a great opportunity for talented undergraduates seeking challenging and rewarding vacation employment, with the prospect of becoming a future Powerlink employee.

Depending on demand and business requirements, we look for students in the areas of engineering (electrical, civil), business (HR, finance and procurement), environmental science/environmental management, and information technology.

Applications for the program open in early August each year, with the program running from late November for 12 weeks.
