Community and environment programs
Overview of community and environment programs
Powerlink proactively develops programs that help build relationships with Local Government, communities and other stakeholders in areas traversed by key existing or future transmission assets.
Through our community and environment programs, we aim to reduce the visual impact of transmission infrastructure, provide environmental outcomes and other long term benefits to communities, and generate lasting and positive relationships at all levels of the community.
Current programs
Powerlink has developed numerous community and environment programs and is currently committed to a number of programs in Southern Queensland.
