How to submit a property search
Our Property Search Service can help you find out whether Powerlink has an interest in or within 500 metres of a property, or if a property is in a current investigation area. Using this service means acceptance of our Terms and Conditions.
Methods to submit a search:
1. By mail or in person
Complete the online Property Search Form, print it by selecting the Print & send payment by mail button at the bottom of the form, and attach an entire copy of the registered subdivision plan of the property (refer to note C on the printed search form). If you prefer, you can print out a blank form and fill it in offline. Then post it to:
Powerlink
PO Box 1193
Virginia Queensland 4014
You can also visit our office at 33 Harold Street Virginia during office hours (8 am to 3.30 pm) with your completed form and request a counter search.
Payment can be made by cheque, credit card, or direct deposit (bank account details for direct deposit are Commonwealth Bank, 240 Queen Street, BSB 064-000 Account 1019-2926).
2. Online
Note: You can only use this method if the registered description of the property is more than three months old.
Complete the online Property Search Form, select the Pay online button at the bottom of the form, and submit both your payment and application using the Commonwealth Bank of Australia’s secure credit card receipting system.
This method accepts credit card payments only.
