Powerlink Community Grants support initiatives and activities valued at up to $5,000 in regional Queensland.
We remain steadfast in our mission to support and uplift Queensland communities. Grants are available annually for projects commencing in the following calendar year.
Our goal is to support projects and activities aligning with resilience, safety, well-being, and economic outcomes, ultimately leading to positive impacts for groups and communities.

Powerlink's last round of community grants provided funding for projects and activities delivered between January 2026 to December 2026. There was limited funding of $25,000 available for community groups, community clubs and not-for-profit organisations in each of the following Local Government Areas:

| Callide Valley Touch Football | Facility & Technology Upgrade – Callide Valley Touch Football | The Callide Valley Touch Football Association seeks funding to purchase two iPads to modernize our Point-of-Sale system and install a hot water system in our bathroom block. The POS upgrade will streamline canteen operations, making it easier for volunteers to manage sales, inventory, and fundraising. The hot water system will improve facilities for players travelling from across the Banana Shire, allowing access to showers for comfort and hygiene. It will also support safe and efficient cleaning, removing the need to manually cart hot water between buildings. | Barfield Road Producer Group | Barfield Road Producer Group website | The Barfield Road Producer Group (BRPG) seeks funding to create a central, user-friendly website to improve communication, connection, and knowledge-sharing in the Banana Shire agricultural community. The site will feature a description of the group, photos, a member section, and an events calendar covering agricultural, educational, and social activities. It will also showcase success stories and case studies to inspire sustainable practices across the region. Currently, BRPG relies on a Facebook page to share events however information is easily lost. | Theodore Early Childhood Centre Association Inc | Theodore Early Childhood Centre Association (TECCA) Renovation and Extension – Fit Out Phase | The TECCA Renovation and Extension – Fit Out Phase will finalise the internal setup of new areas, focusing on equipping the laundry and preparation room with essential cabinetry, appliances, and fixtures. Additional sessions will highlight the importance of bone health and the role of exercise in improving treatment outcomes.
