This long-term partnership program provides essential emergency equipment to SES groups across the state. For the 2023/2024 partnership we have doubled our amount from $50,000 to $100,000 so more vital equipment totalling $250,000 will be handed out to SES groups to help Queensland communities.
In 2022/2023 the program delivered:
- 160 essential equipment items totalling $200,000 across 160 SES groups in regional Queensland and metropolitan areas
- Support to more than 3,466 volunteers and their communities
We have partnered with SES since 2015 delivering over one million dollars in shiny new equipment to assist the many volunteers who keep our communities safe.
In times of emergency and disaster, the SES volunteers often work hand in hand with our staff to assist within impacted communities. Our goals in times of need – to respond, repair and restore life to normal in these communities – closely align.
