  • Administrative traineeships

Our traineeship in office administration gives you on-the-job experience while you study for a Certificate III in Business (Administration). The program is government-approved and registered with the Department of Education and Training (DET).

To be eligible, you must have passed Year 12 English.

Features of this 12-month traineeship include:

    • Two different rotations from a possible five placements.
    • A nine-day fortnight with standard hours (no overtime required except in very rare circumstances).  Normal hours vary between 8:00am and 4:30pm or 8:30am and 5:00pm (depending on placement).
    • All training is conducted onsite.  A trainer from the college will visit once a month to conduct your training and assessment.  There’s no need to attend college at night or on the weekends.
    • You’ll be allocated two hours ‘study time’ during work hours each week.
    • Additional training assistance will be provided to help you improve your work skills and your CV (you may be able to receive training in areas like MS Access from a certified trainer).
    • You’ll receive support and assistance at the end of your traineeship to help you find a further placement for work or study including help updating your CV, guidance on how to address selection criteria and interview tips.
