QUT’s Electrical Engineering Student Society (EESS) is a student-run organisation for engineering students undertaking electrical-based specialties.
EESS events are designed to encourage participation, build on skills learnt from studies, and expand student’s networks.
They focus on four main areas: Industry, Education, Social and Projects. They also participate in community engagement and run student development workshops
Powerlink supports EESS through professional networking opportunities, career fairs and social events to nurture student industry and academic potential.
This includes participation in the QUT STEM Career Fair, QUT Engineering Careers Fair, as well as excursions and education sessions designed to support students understanding of the power industry.
