Overview
Powerlink was engaged by Shell to connect the 120MW Gangarri Solar Farm to the transmission network. Situated in Woleebee near Wandoan, the solar farm will generate energy to power around 50,000 homes. Powerlink has built a short section of new transmission line to connect the solar farm to the existing Wandoan South Substation.
Status
Powerlinkâs construction activities were completed during 2021.
