Mega Projects (and CopperString) Committee Terms of Reference
The Mega Projects (and CopperString) Committee assists the Board in fulfilling its oversight responsibilities in the delivery of significant infrastructure projects, including the CopperString project.
The Committee has been established to review and report to the Board in relation to the delivery of the program of transmission infrastructure Mega Projects associated with the transition of the power system and achievement of Queensland Government energy policies.
The Committee is responsible for monitoring Powerlink's capacity and capability to deliver Mega Projects, including investment planning, governance, social performance and supply chain management. It oversees investment planning, governance, and endorses capital investment recommendations, while also monitoring project progress.
