At Powerlink, we understand that our success is not only measured by the value we deliver, but how we deliver this value. That is why corporate social responsibility is an important part of our business.

Connecting Queenslanders to a world-class energy future.

Our values

Our values guide our decision-making and strengthen the way we deliver safe, cost-effective and reliable transmission services to more than five million Queenslanders and 253,000 businesses.

Here at Powerlink, we have four core values: accountability, customer, teamwork and safety.

Our promise

We have signed onto a number of business and industry charters that support our commitment to deliver better outcomes for our customers.

Our Customer Service Charter outlines our customer service standards and responsibilities and provides a clear understanding of what to expect from us.

We understand that our customers play a key role in how our network continues to evolve as we move towards a lower carbon future and provide greater choice in how energy is used and accessed. We are committed to providing excellent customer service and interacting with customers in a respectful and transparent way.

Together with our industry counterparts from across the electricity and gas supply chain we have committed to The Energy Charter.

This is the first cross-sector energy industry framework focused on better customer outcomes - delivering a more affordable, reliable and sustainable energy system for all Australians.

Each of the signatories to The Energy Charter publicly release their Energy Charter Disclosure Statements to report on their progress against five key principles.

The disclosures then go through an Independent Accountability Panel process. This is an independent process with many points of feedback and review which provide directions and advice to individual businesses.

The panel's findings will set the baseline for ongoing change and improvement, and it will be up to each signatory business to turn their recommendations and findings into action.

We are a founding signatory of the Clean Energy Council’s Best Practice Charter for Renewable Energy Developments. The charter reflects our commitment to advance and develop projects in a socially responsible way. It demonstrates our commitment to engaging respectfully with the communities in which we plan and operate projects, being sensitive to environmental and cultural values, and making a positive contribution to the regions in which we operate.
