CareFlight Queensland has confirmed that the pilot of a helicopter that came into contact with transmission lines near Yuleba North this morning is in a stable condition.
Powerlink crews are currently on site to make the site safe, assess the damage to transmission lines and commence necessary repairs. This incident has caused no loss of electricity supply.
Powerlink will be fully cooperating with the appropriate authorities to investigate the incident.
