Powerlink is delighted to donate $1,000 towards the upcoming Get Pinkt Family Fun Day on 27 February in Wallumbilla to help raise funds for cancer treatment.
"One of our landholders and local Maraona Regional Councillor Ree Price approached me to see if Powerlink was interested in supporting the Get Pinkt Family Fun Day, and we jumped at lending a hand to this worthwhile cause,” said Landholder Relations Manager Murray Abel.
“Ree tells me the event will be pink with a touch of blue as this year they will be raising funds for prostate cancer.
“I am looking forward to catching up with the Maranoa and Wallumbilla community at the fun day and checking out the market stalls.”
This event has raised in excess of $50,000 over the last five years.
