Nearing the end of a three month vacation placement with the Works Delivery team in Operations and Service Delivery. Will has gained a bird's eye view of project planning at Powerlink.
He said his time at Powerlink had taught him a lot about himself and his approach to problem solving.
“I've been given plenty of opportunities to have a say in my work and decide how to attack the problems presented to me," he said.
“Compared to university where there's a set way of doing things, I've thoroughly enjoyed the chance to be creative and explore different solutions".
“The dedication my fellow co-workers have for the electricity network and customers is impressive and I thank them for their support while I've been here."
We wish WIll good luck as he embarks on his last year of studying his double degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at QUT.
