Safety is essential so when Foodbank Queensland needed Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for their cold room extension we wanted to help.

The PPE insulated jackets, trousers and gloves are used by staff and volunteers to enter the cold room (-18 degrees) to place and pick up pallets of rescued food.

By providing this PPE, Powerlink ensures the safety and well-being of the workers by minimising the risk of cold-related illnesses or injuries to the wonderful staff and volunteers.

Foodbank aims to reduce food insecurity and support vulnerable individuals and families in Queensland, Australia. By providing access to nutritious food, Foodbank Queensland empowers communities by addressing hunger and improving food security.
