As part of our customer response to COVID-19, Powerlink worked together with Energy Queensland to establish a community support-based partnership to deliver two key programs in partnership with ICAN.
ICAN is a Cairns-based organisation which specialises in providing financial counselling and consumer advocacy services, financial capability and financial literacy training to both Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities in Queensland. It is also a Registered Training Organisation.
Our partnership focuses on a Diploma of Financial Counselling Queensland Scholarship Program and an online Energy Literacy Module aimed at addressing the gap in foundational energy-related financial literacy.
