Our Health, Safety and Environment team have showed great community initiative to benefit some of Queensland’s most endearing residents, our native animals.

Each year, select items from our first aid kits pass their use by dates, and our team have uncovered a way to divert these old dressings, bandages, disinfectant and other useful items to the care of our local wildlife.

The medical supplies have been donated to Australia Zoo Wildlife Hospital and Wilvos to aide in supporting their efforts to save injured wildlife.

These organisations care for wildlife that has been injured or orphaned from vehicle hits, domestic animal attacks or from clearing of habitats.

Well done to our team for establishing this ongoing arrangement with the wildlife entities.
