The 2016/17 year experienced ongoing change in the energy industry across a range of areas including economic outlook, consumer behaviour, government policy and regulation, and emerging technologies.
This transformational period has presented diverse challenges and opportunities, underpinned by Powerlink's continued focus on operating and maintaining a safe, cost effective and reliable transmission network for Queensland. A key focus has also been on strengthening our approach to delivering customer value and innovation, in particular facilitating variable renewable energy infrastructure developments.
