The Queensland Electricity Entity Procedures for Safe Access to High Voltage Electrical Apparatus (SAHVEA) forms an essential part of providing a safe system of work for everyone accessing the high voltage system.
The scope relates to work on or within an authorised person’s electrical exclusion zone. It applies to all electricity entity employees and contractors who may be associated with planning, designing, constructing, commissioning, operating and maintaining high voltage electrical apparatus owned and operated by Powerlink, Ergon Energy or Energex.
